ButI myself just did a clean install of emulator to and after first startup my folder looked like this. I then inserted texture pack where it's supposed to be and, for me it worked. So to get your textures to display you need to find where the memstick folder is.

Its actually one of my goals with this idea, to actually have scales, scratches, and cracks visible on the monsters' hides. By default on PPSSPP everything becomes blurry and small details become lost in the base textures. Using the PS2 textures is a much better starting point in any case, so thanks for bringing that up.

UsingPPSSPP with 5x res, HD textures i found on github (easy to install really. All you have to do is go into the TEXTURES folder inside PSP and paste the folder you get from github there) and im using the V3 patch which requires you to go to Cheats in the PSP folder, make an .ini file with game id (UCES/USxxxxx.ini) and paste the cheat code there.
